Mega Man’s spiritual successor gets a new trailer
Most people have heard about the runaway success of Keiji Inafune’s Kickstarter project, Mighty No.9 – the action platformer is heavily in development right now and a new trailer was just released to the public.
The two minute trailer showcases many things, like gameplay, the game’s art, dynamics, and various enemies – at a couple points, we get a zoomed-in look at some of the characters in great detail plus a first look at two of the game’s bosses. According to the Kickstarter update: “The game plays great by the way, and is gradually getting harder!”
Inafune went to Kickstarter after he departed from Capcom, asking for $900,000 to finish his project. The public’s reaction was enthusiastic, and he assembled more than $3,800,000. After looking at the trailer, we can definitely say that the money were well-spent, even though the game is still a long way off, with an estimated release in Q2, 2016.
