Want to use your Xbox One controller under Windows? Check!
The Xbox One controller is one of the best reasons to own an Xbox One; it feels great in your hands and it’s a refinement of the wildly popular Xbox 360 controller. If you are a PC Gamer and you want to use it under Windows, now you can do that.
Microsoft will soon provide drivers via Windows Update; but if you are one of those impatient types (aka, like the rest of us), Major Nelson just put up links to download the drivers and start playing away.
So download away; if your PC game works with the Xbox 360 controller, it will also work with the Xbox One counterpart; so we don’t think there’ll be any incompatibilities.
