Google brings Android to your TV

June is a month of exhibitions and announcements. We have WWDC this Monday (Apple fanboys are already going crazy about it for no particular reason as always), we have Computex, E3 and of course there’s Google I/O. Our search overlords are set to announce the launch of Android TV at the conference, which takes place in San Francisco later in June, according to multiple sources familiar with Google’s plans.

10Gbps Wi-Fi transmission speed achieved by Huawei

Wireless networks are all the rage these days, with speeds constantly improving. With 802.11ac starting to gain adoption, companies around the world are struggling to come up with the next big thing. So it’s not surprising to read that Huawei, one of the biggest information and communications technology solutions provider globally, has announced the successful testing of the industry’s first 10Gbps Wi-Fi service in laboratory trials at the company’s campus in Shenzhen, China.

CVG magazine to close after 33 years

It’s a totally different landscape these days, and publications we all know and love all these years are closing one after the other. Future announced that it is restructuring its offerings, and one of the publications that will receive the axe is CVG, Computer and Video Games.
