Amazon to announce new device on June 18th: 3D Smartphone?

For the past year there are rumours that Amazon is developing a smartphone. The mystery is about to be unveiled in a couple of weeks.

The company sent invites for June 18th in Seattle, where Jeff Bezos will unveil what Amazon is cooking for so long. Rumours about the 3D device have been out and about for quite a while, with reports indicating that the device will sport multiple front-facing cameras in order to create a 3D user interface that tracks the user’s motions. Amazon has published a teaser video for the new device showing people’s reactions to it, which you can catch below:
